Grief Garage

Grief Garage is how we share with you the values, ideas, and practices that help us feel connected while grieving — so we don’t get stuck or isolated in it. We introduce big ideas, rituals that naturalize grief, and practices that can connect us.

What kind of healing moment can we create together?

THE INVITATION

Over the past three years, Soloss has supported neighbours, peers, and strangers to care for one another — in encampments, in end-of-life care, in front-line roles.

We’ve learned what it takes to create conditions for authentic engagement with grief. Through our experiential offerings, we are rebuilding a culture that is capable of acknowledging and processing grief.

Grief includes any and all responses to loss — of people, places, roles, routines, and more. By acknowledging and embodying grief together, we validate it. That validation is the starting point for healing.

Module 1

Anyone can tend to Loss

Grief care isn’t just for professionals. This session breaks the myth that you need expertise to support others — you just need tools and presence.

  • Expand your understanding of loss as a constant human experience

  • Explore non-verbal ways of showing care

  • Practice managing discomfort and creating space for grief

$200 per person

(Minimum: 8 participants. Rates apply to groups of up to 24. Ask about discounts for larger groups.)

Module 2

Moving Emotions

Grief lives in the body. This module teaches how to process emotions physically — beyond talk therapy.

  • Expand your understanding of loss as a constant human experience

  • Explore non-verbal ways of showing care

  • Practice managing discomfort and creating space for grief

Making space for healing starts with intentional space.

We can take care of that too.
